Daniel Husiak co-founded Strativa in 2000. Sadly, he passed away on October 18, 2008.
Dan was instrumental in establishing Strativa on a solid foundation of independence, developing our methodologies for business strategy and process reengineering, and teaching us to think and communicate effectively. We benefited greatly from his leadership and continue to apply what he taught us in our consulting services today.
Dan had an extensive background in business strategy and business process reengineering, with experience in a wide range of industries, including financial services, information services, manufacturing, distribution, health care, commercial real estate, and Internet-based businesses. Prior to co-founding Strativa, he was Director of Business Process Reengineering and a Senior Consultant at TRW/Experian, a $1.6 billion credit reporting and information services company, where he initiated and led a series of business strategy and process improvement projects. He was also Director of Marketing and Business Development and Director of Planning and Development for other commercial divisions of TRW. Before that he held a series of management positions at AT&T, where he was involved in planning divestiture and post-divestiture strategy.
Dan held a Ph.D. and an M.S. from New York University, and a B.S. from City College of New York. His expertise in change management was also enhanced by his experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
